[PHOTOGRAPHY]. [LINCOLN, Abraham (1809-1865), subject]. ?Abraham Lincoln as a father" Mounted Albumen Portrait of Lincoln with His Son, Thomas (?Tad"). Philadelphia: Charles Desilver, 1865. Oval mounted albumen on original printed mount. Albumen approximately 6 x 8". Sight of albumen with mount approximately 12 x 9 ?". Matted and framed under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 17 ? x 15". A few minor visible scratches to mount. Exceptionally bright and fine. Desilver published this upon Lincoln's death as a tribute, revealing a lesser-known side of the great man. With humidity indicator on verso of frame. Not examined out of frame. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 17 ? x 15 x 1".
