Rare tintype of Mrs. Lincoln in Carte de Visite mount with oval window, one of Ayer's ?Union Card Picture" cards. Mrs. Lincoln's cheeks are lightly tinted in red. Oval approximately 1 ? x 1 ?". Mount approximately 4 x 2 ?". A few small scratches in the emulsion above Mrs. Lincoln's head, minor toning, very faint thumbsoiling to mount. Fine. An exceedingly scarce item.
