PICASSO, Pablo (Spanish, 1881-1973). ?La Colombe Bleue (Blue Dove)?. 1961. Original lithograph on paper. One of 200 copies (#24) signed by Picasso. Visible image: 19 x 25?. Matted, framed, and glazed (frame size: 28 ? x 38 ??). Not examined out of frame. Excellent. Picasso was one of the most famous and lauded artists of the twentieth century. His art went through several different ?periods? (the Blue, Rose, African-Influenced, two different ?Cubism? periods, and Neoclassical). He was incredibly prolific, and worked in different mediums (canvas, paper, sculpture, theater design, and many more).
