This is a preliminary drawing for a color painting made for the American Weekly (Pogany did significant work for them). No signature visible. Sight approximately 23 x 18". Matted and framed under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 29 x 23". Light toning, foxing, occasional soiling to drawing, upper edge of frame is chipped. Fine. An excellent depiction of Caesar and Cleopatra, both with expressions reflecting their great power and wealth.
