[POTTERY]. [NELSON, Lord Horatio (1758-1805), subject]. ?Admiral Nelson / Victory? Commemorative Jug. [Liverpool, ca. 1806-1810s]. Rare jug with portrait of Nelson surrounded with the legend, ?England Expects That Every Man Will Do His Duty?, as well as an unusual image of a Masonic-themed image, both printed in reddish-brown. Approximately 3 ?? in diameter at the widest point (not including the handle), and 5 ?? high. Some soiling, a few small hairline cracks (most likely due to age or climate). Near fine. Rare.
