Contemporary calf (front hinge disbound but present, spine worn away, loose pages, foxing, toning, notations). Provenance: Sir Robert D?Arcy (bookplate), Charles Blake (initials). Presented to Charles Blake, a noted English poet and Archdiocese of York, by Sir Gilbert Dolben, Baronet, with transcriptions of poems by Matthew Prior written on both sides of front and back free endpapers likely written in Blake?s hand.
