Attractive presentation binding in period full calf, covers gilt in panels with decorative gilt rules and cornerpieces, rebacked with original spine laid down, raised bands stippled in gilt, compartments with gilt scrollwork and centerpiece ornaments, upper compartment titled in gilt, cover fore edges with alternating fleuron tools, elaborate gilt dentelle turn-ins, all edges gilt, pale yellow endpapers (marginal foxing to title and few plates). A lovely copy.
