Including drafts of the column ?Merlini?s Magic? by Rawson with pencil sketches showing the workings of various tricks, a batch of snapshots with Rawson?s name and address on the envelope from the developing company, an oversize photo of Rawson presenting a levitation, typescripts with manuscript corrections apparently in his hand on the versos of Ziff-Davis publishing letterhead, drafts of what is likely the introduction to his book Merlini?s Magic with many handwritten corrections and notes, correspondence and artwork for a robotic toy/premium design pitched to various manufacturers (including Kellogg?s) with color illustrations likely by Rawson, the manuscript for the ?Homicidal Poltergeist? effect, and more. Mostly 4tos sheets, approximately 100 in all. An interesting archive of material from the mystery writer who penned some of the most famous works in the genre at the mid-century.
