RPM album depicting stylized suit card caricatures of Otis Redding and Carla Thomas as king and queen. Creases, rubbing. SIGNED ON BACK COVER BY OTIS REDDING, CARLA THOMAS, AND U.S. SENATOR HOWARD H. BAKER, JR., who wrote the dedication on the back of the album. The idea to bring Carla Thomas and Otis Redding together on an album came from producer Jim Stewart in the hopes of replicating the success that Marvin Gaye and Mary Wells had recently found together, and would mark Otis Redding?s final release of original during material during his lifetime.
