Original black textured cloth decoratively stamped in gilt and ruled thrice in blind, rebacked with original gilt titled spine laid down. 4to. Illustrated with 36 plates including 2 large folding maps, folding views, color lithographs on Native Americans, and several other illustrations. Hinge cracked, general foxing and toned edges, slight lean.
