Full contemporary polished calf ruled in gilt, raised bands, citrus and burgundy spine labels gilt, compartments completely gilt in fleuron tools, top edge gilt, gilt dentelle turn ins, marbled endpapers, stamp signed by Riviere & Son for Sotheran & Co. (spines a bit sunned and rubbed, some marginal toning). An attractive set.
