Half-length portrait of a 20-year-old William George Rakauskas of Detroit, who would go on to be Will Rock, the illusionist who toured under the Thurston name. Fancy folding photographer's mount, 8 ? x 5 ?" (closed). SIGNED twice by Rock, both in the image (inscribed to the I.B.M.), and again in pencil on the flap. A very early portrait of Rock.
