S?ANCE ROOM REACHING ROD/CANE. Circa 1915. Carved wooden cane with floral and bird motif around its circumference, apparently terminating in a metal ferrule. The interior of the cane conceals a telescoping wooden reaching rod, used to produce apparent spirit manifestations in a darkened s?ance room. Length (collapsed) 35 ??.
