Wraps toned and chipped, spine perished with binding just holding. RARE; the first example in this state we have encountered.One of two parts bound in pictorial wrappers and sold at two shillings per section. The text offered here is made up of gatherings from printings of the first edition but bound differently; the pagination including the terminal advertising leaves are identical to the clothbound examples we have examined.
