Salesman's Sample Parking Meter. Emeryville, CA: Voglesong Meter Co., ca. 1940s. Green-bodied coin operated parking meter with front and top glass covers. A salesman's sample, the meter mounted on a metal stand and with clasping carrying case. With original parts including red ball under top glass cover, coin box, and lock and key. Coin did not engage mechanism when tested; may require repairs. Shallow chip to thick arched glass on front. Overall, a very good display.
