Famous colorful image of the mythological hero preparing to behead the three sleeping Gorgons. Unsigned. Sight approximately 15 ? x 10 ?". Matted and framed under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 21 x 17". Light edgewear visible on watercolor. Fine. Scheiner was a painter of the Secessionist style and is famous for his magazine and book illustrations. This image is one of his better known. Not examined out of frame. From the Collection of Louis A. Irmo. Measurements: 21 x 17 x 2".
