Engraving from Seba?s first edition of Locupletissimi rerum naturalium thesauri accurate description, et iconibus artificiosissimis expression, per universam physics historiam. (Two tears to outer margins not affecting the image). The work was considered the finest and most complete record of any 18th century cabinet of natural history curiosities. A STRIKING IMPRESSION.
