Sesquicentennial of Constitution Proclamation. Washington, D.C., 1937. Ornate and large lithographic broadside issued by the United States Constitution Sesquicentennial Commission. Signed on the plate by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Cordell Hull, Secretary of State. 17 ½ x 23.” In multicolored illuminated Gothic type it features the presidential proclamation designating September 17, 1937 to April 30, 1939, as a period to commemorate the ratification of the Constitution and the inauguration of the first President under that Constitution. Fine.
