Uncommon brown metal (copper?) stamped plaque with a bugle, and flaming grenade ball with ?4? design (representing the 4th Legion). Approximately 5 ? x 5 ??. A few small holes, minor wear, soiling. Still, very good with nice patina. This pattern was introduced in 1831 after the accession of Louis Phillipe to the throne. It remained in use until the next ?change? in 1845.
