Early half green cloth gilt, marbled sides, top edge gilt, others uncut (spine gently sunned, few minor stains and some surface chipping to sides, front hinge cracked). Provenance: M.F.G. (early ownership stamp on front pastedown); notation dated 1893 on front free endpaper. Later Victorian edition of Shelley?s masterpiece of horror first published in 1818.
