Black and white glossy photograph (152 x 102) reproduction taken from a four-disc set gifted to Chet Ross from Kiyotaka Ishufune, the assistant director of the Shirase Museum (Memorial Hall of the Shirase Expeditionary Party to the South Pole). The four-discs contain approximately 400 images related to Shirase and the JAE, most never-before-seen including this photo of Shirase and his son. Ross 5.5A (?Very rare?).
