Handsome ? length portrait of the famed mechanician/magician in white tie and tails, and holding a magic wand. 5 ? x 9 ??. Very good. This photograph was extracted from the scrapbook of David P. Abbott; Abbott?s monograph The Marvelous Creations of Joseffy (Lot 320) remains the best record of Joseffy?s many mechanical magical creations.
