[SNUFF BOX]. [BONAPARTE, Napoleon (1769-1821), subject]. Napoleon Empereur Ormolu Snuff Box. [France, ca. 1804-1814]. This beautifully crafted tortoise shell snuff box is approximately 2 ?? in diameter and ?? high. On the pull-off lid is an inset ormolu profile of Napoleon with laurel wreath under glass (approximately 1 ?? in diameter). Lid has an older repaired crack on top and bottom of lid, light rubbing to bottom of box, light soiling to profile. Good.
