Sepia photomontage of many oval portraits of the best-known magicians of the late nineteenth century, including Robert-Houdin, Buatier de Kolta, Goldin, Robert Heller, W.E. Robinson (later Chung Ling Soo), T. Nelson Downs, Signor Blitz, Alexander Herrmann, Dr. J.W. Elliott, Harry Kellar, and others. Large format card mount, 14 x 11” in a larger frame (small crack to glass). With the key affixed to the verso and an autograph note stating that this image was gifted to the former owner by Paul Fleming, the noted magician, economics professor, and publisher.
