Including a land grant document signed by the governor of the Cape of Good Hope (1822), Lord Somerset (with wax seal and with surveyor?s manuscript map on verso), and a local postmaster appointment signed by the Postmaster General of the United States, Montgomery Blair (1863, with embossed seal). 19 x 12? and 13 x 16?. Both documents creased, toned, soiled, with tears, tape repairs to versos. Generally good.
