Some minor toning, two small pieces of mounting tape at upper margin. An excellent image. Soyer was a painter, draftsman, and printmaker. His work is considered ?social realism,? and was influenced with his Depression-era work for the WPA and other such associations. In 1981, he was awarded the Gold Medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
