Speed Gibson Rocket-Gyro Premium. Lexington, KY: Spotswood Spec. Co., ca. 1937. A Hikes cereal premium featuring a balsa wood bodied rocket with printed advertisement on one side and an image of a rocket ship on the verso. Attached to the nose is a metal weight; attached to the rear are two stiff paper fins. Illustrated envelope and original rubber bands with wooden launcher included. Length of rocket 7?. Wood is splitting at the nose; rubber bands have disintegrated; creasing to envelope.
