Spirit Collar. Paris: DeVere [?], ca. 1910. Neck shackle made of nickel-plated brass used to secure a spirit medium to a post or chair. Concealed metal shim allows for a quick release (and re-entry) from the restraint. Diameter 6". Includes sub rosa tools for escape.
