Mount approximately 6 ? x 4 ??. Some minor rubbing, upper left corner of mount lightly chipped. Excellent. St. Denis was a pioneer of modern dance, bringing in Eastern motifs to American dance (she is in an Eastern-style costume in this portrait). Her influence in the dance world is still felt to this day. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
