Ste. Gle. de Transports Maritimes a Vapeur / ?Plata.? Naples: Richter & Co., ca. 1911. Lithograph poster with overprint in silver metallic ink. 27 ? x 40?. Linen backed. Scattered touch-up and restored small losses along original folds and edges. A-/B+. This poster depicts the French passenger ship Valdivia, which was launched in 1911. The overprint is dated 1922 and advertises service on SGTM?s ship ?Plata? between Naples and points in South America, namely Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires.
