Original red cloth, front board and spine stamped in black (spine a bit dull, minor rubbing to binding, text toned); original dust jacket (jacket spine sunned, some rubbing, soiling, scuffing, a few short tears). Photoplay edition with the ?Madison Square Books? imprint on the rear jacket panel. This edition was released to coincide with the 1941 film version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, starring Spencer Tracy.
