Taken at the Texas Governor’s Mansion, inscribed in the lower margin: “To Ron—Best always/George W. Bush” and “George Bush”. 6 ½ x 10”. Verso stamped by the photographer and annotated by the former owner, Ron Wade, who was appointed by George H.W. Bush to his Presidential Inaugural Committee and was a floor leader at the 1988 Republican National Convention, as well as a regional director for Bush’s races in 1980, 1988, and 1992.
