T. & H. Doublet Binocular Microscope. London: T. & H. Doublet, 11 Moorgate St., late 19th century. Original lacquered brass, with coarse and fine focusing mechanisms, x/y stage, dual adjustable eyepiece, sub-stage mirror. Housed in a glass-fronted mahogany case with fitted accessories drawer housing additional lenses, prism, and two glass slides. Marked by Doublet on the base. Height of instrument approx. 17". Case 22 x 8 x 7 ?".
