[TATTOO]. BREITWEG, Thomas (American, 1919 - 2001). "Tatts Tommy" Original Seven Design Flash Sheet. [NEWPORT], mid to late 20th century. Original ink and watercolor flash designs, featuring a variety of American traditional motifs pasted upon a red background. Unsigned. Inscribed "Property of Greg May" to the verso. 14 x 11". 

Thomas Breitweg was the first licensed tattoo artist in Maine and held license # 01 until his retirement in 2001, at which point he held the title of the oldest practicing tattoo artist in the United States.

 

Condition

Toning to sheet with scattered marks; adhesive residue present; edge wear with holes to sheet corners.
