Taytelbaum Freer-Type Tile Puzzle. Holland: Eddy Taytelbaum, ca. 1970. A miniature puzzle in a close-fitting frame is removed, and when re-formed in the frame, a hole has appeared in the center of the puzzle ? though the no pieces were removed. To plug the hole now at the center of the puzzle, a miniature head is used to plug the hole in the puzzle. Hand painted with reverse-painted Chinese figure atop the carrying case, finely made in the Taytelbaum tradition. With cloth carrying bag. Rare.
