This small broadside lists three resolutions against a clerk and the owner of a local store for selling alcoholic beverages and voting for anti-abolitionists: ?1st. Resolved, that the clerk, as well as the owner, of the store, in which is carried on the traffic in intoxicating drinks, is out of his place, when preaching the gospel; and is especially offensive, when presuming to preach it to the ?Church of Peterboro? - a Church, which as ever maintained high and strong testimonies against this accursed traffic??
