[TATTOO]. Ten Hand-Colored Flash Designs. The Swallow Tattoo Studio: Hong Kong, ca. 1970s. Ten hand-colored original flash designs including U.K. Royal Naval imagery, pin-ups, and animal motifs (stallions and tigers). 11 3/4 x 8 1/4".
Operating from 1963 to 1998, Swallow Tattoo Studio was founded by the master tattoo artist Lai Shue-keung (known as "Swallow"), who became an icon of Hong Kong traditional tattooing.
Condition
Creasing to the sheet with toning, spot staining, and edge wear present. Tape adhesive along sheet edges; holes along the upper edge from previous hanging.
