Pencil sketches on textured paper on various satirical topics, various characters including: Britannia, Madame La Republique, Viscount Goschen, Gladstone, and others. Each sketch with Tenniel's monogram at the bottom. All matted, each with magazine page affixed on versos. Sights range from approximately 8 x 5 ?" to 13 ? x 7 ?". Mat sizes range from approximately 12 x 9" to 18 ? x 13 ?". Toned, foxed, soiled, some occasional fading, some wear to mats. Very good.
