Storker of Miami, Texas (early ownership signature). FIRST EDITION. Dixon was an American scout, plainsman, and pioneer active in the Texas Panhandle. He became one of eight civilians ever to receive the U.S. Medal of Honor for his actions at the ?Buffalo Wallow Fight? on 12 September 1874. Howes B135.
