Repaired closed tears and slight losses in margin, a few extending into image, restored staining in margins, but bright and vivid overall. B+. This poster probably dates within a few years of Hagenbeck?s merger with Benjamin Wallace, forming the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus. Combined, the circus rivaled Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey as largest in America in the early 20th century, though Hagenbeck died in 1913.
