The Empire in Plymouth, WI was a commercial building that housed a dry goods store, a drug store, and a funeral parlor (presumably businesses came and went over the years). In 1924, there was a famous theft of liquor from Badger Drugs in the building (booze was legally sold by druggists during Prohibition).
