Dalrymple, Frederick. The First Thanksgiving. Ca. 1950. This watercolor painting features a scene from the First Thanksgiving. The Mayflower has arrived in America and a group of three pilgrims cook fish over a fire on the beach. Probably produced for publication in the Childrenês Hour series published by Waverley Book Company in the early 1930s. Signed by the artist. Slight staining to edges, small fold in top right corner, unmounted on paper. 16 x 12 inches. Good.
