The Hansom Cabman. Pathe, 1924. Lobby card set of eight (11 x 14?) including title card. In this Mack Sennett produced silent comedy, Harry Langdon stars as Harry Doolittle, who wakes in a strange room on the day he is to be married and finds a woman who claims they were wed the night before. Harry?s fianc?e and mother arrive, and in the ensuing brouhaha, Harry is arrested, and finally ends up pretending to be a hansom cab driver. Clean and sharp with a few light creases at edges; old hand-stamps on versos. We have seen no complete sets offered previously at auction.
