Crime suspense thriller originally titled "The Scotland Yard Mystery" in its 1933 release, but re-titled to appeal to fans of the burgeoning horror genre. Based on the play by Wallace Geoffrey, it is the tale of a Scotland Yard investigator trying to stop an evil genius who has created a serum that makes people appear dead so that he can collect on their life insurance. Starring Gerald du Maurier, father of Daphne du Maurier, and George Curzon. Linen-backed. Touched up folds and margins. A-.
