Full page frontispiece with tissue guard. Inscribed and signed with a tipped in lithographed photo of Hale on the ffep: ?Charles Wolcott/from Mrs. Hubbard/with the best wishes from Edward E. Hale/March 10, 1902.? 8vo. Extremities sunned at edges; spine browned, foxing to top rear board.
