A hardwood chest trimmed in hammered copper is shown with a large rectangular opening in one side. Items borrowed from the audience are placed in the chest where they can be seen through the opening. The lid is closed and the blade is slid in place, filling the opening with the ?One-sided Hole? approximately in the center. Now the performer reaches through the ?Hole? and removes one of the items borrowed from the audience. An audience member who loaned another item is invited to reach in and recover their property. As a finale, the blade is removed from the chest and the performer peels the hole from the blade! Now there is no hole in the blade and the spectator cannot find a trace of the opening he just put his hand through. Finely crafted in the Owen tradition, 18 x 14 x 15?.
