Light green cloth-backed boards pictorially stamped in dark green, red and black; illustrated endpapers. Illustrated by John R. Neill; gatherings printed on multi-color tinted stock. Points for First Printing, Binding A present (2 pp. of ads at rear for Baum and Bancroft titles, imperfect text on p. 34, line 4 and in page number ?121?, publisher?s imprint in upper and lowercase letters). 4to. Rubbing to cover, shelf wear at extremities, boards starting but holding, spine slightly cocked, ownership signature on FFEP, tear on p. 41. A good copy.
