Half green morocco over marbled boards ruled in gilt, spine titled and ruled in gilt, raised bands, spine compartments with gilt turnip tool, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. All points for first state present (sheets bulk about 1 1/8?, title-leaf is clearly a conjugate, the facsimile autograph on frontispiece is in state A and measures 1 7/16?). Frontispiece photographic portrait of Twain and copious marginal line-cut illustrations. 8vo. Extremities lightly rubbed. A clean copy. BAL3442.
