Bumps and light wear to cloth, but very good overall. Presentation copy, with an outstanding full-page inscription from Houdini, stating, “To my good old friend Clark Brown, with best wishes and regards from the author. Harry Houdini. This is the first authentic history of magic and magicians ever published. The work of over 2 years of my time, used during my travels abroad. At least read the introduction which explains why I wrote this book. Nov. 9 – 1917.”
