Original green and red cloth titled and ruled in gilt, t.e.g. 12mo. Variously illustrated with maps, portraits, and facsimiles. Includes the early set of Memorable American Speeches (1906). Also are included many signed holiday business cards laid-in and signed by the Vice President of the company, Herbert P. Zimmermann. Scattered spotting to boards and spines; contents generally clean. Lakeside Press is exceptionally important in American printing history and was instrumental in the development of inexpensive paperbacks and of high-speed printing.
